My daughter’s cat, Apollo, thinks he is a dog and will eat anything!

Last week he started throwing up and had diarrhea which brought him a visit to the vet. My daughter was concerned about the cat, all I could see was dollar signs.

Melrose Animal Clinic was able to squeeze him in that afternoon.

We had a great vet tech who performed a great history and then we saw the vet who did a thorough exam and gave us options. We could do blood work, an ultrasound, IV’s meds, etc. She explained the pros and cons and advised us to take it slow, we agreed to IV hydration, antinausea meds, and some special food. If no improvement we could do more invasive stuff.

I appreciate having the options and her expert opinion.

Within 48 hours, Apollo was back causing havoc – his baseline.

It is reassuring to know Melrose has competent and empathetic animal care.

Thank you, Melrose Animal Care, for taking care of Apollo!
