La Cabana Food Truck
Written and Photographed by Nancy Clover

I love a dream come true story.
Cesare and Vilma have been dreaming of opening a restaurant for years. They have worked two jobs to save enough money to purchase a food truck. Cesare was a chef at Mexico Lindo and worked at Hugo's (He delivered my new appliances). Vilma waitressed at Mexico Lindo and did housekeeping.

On Wednesday, their dream came true when they received a permit for La Cabana. The food truck is Mexican and Salvadorian with an American twist. They have hot dogs wrapped in bacon and a Big Al burger named after the founder of Hugo's.
We had the steak tacos – they were delicious with fresh tortillas. Be warned - they have 2 levels of hot sauce, and they are spicey! They also serve burritos, quesadillas and more.
The mobile food truck is available for private events.
Located in the parking lot behind Hugos, they are open from 11am–8pm Tuesday to Sunday.
Stop by for a quick bite and a friendly smile.
