Sweet Spot Bakery

Sweet Spot Bakery, another great place on West Emerson Street across from the Cedar Park train station in Melrose.
We purchased a broccoli and cheese quiche (they had other kinds as well). The quiche was flavorful and so light. I usually make my own quiche but the crust on this was way better than mine.
The cases are filled with cakes (you can also preorder and customize), cupcakes, and cookies. Breakfast treats - scones, muffins, turnovers and brambles. Chicken pies – mashed potatoes, vegetables, and chicken with a delightful crust.
The show stopper is the eclairs – the shell is light, the custard inside is amazing, all surrounded in chocolate. The size is definitely sharable!
I had the opportunity to talk with Torie, who has worked at the bakery for 20 years and is now one of the bakers.
They have a new co-owner and have started making custom order cookies.
If you need a gift for your dog – they have dog treats!
Friendly staff, good parking right out front.
Another Melrose hidden gem.
Stop in and pick up some goodies or a meal.
The Sweet Spot Bakery’s motto is "Life is short, eat dessert first." I agree with this!
