Wedding Cake House

Melrose has so many GORGEOUS homes. I love the homes on East Emerson and have admired the graceful home at 142. When I found out it was called the “Wedding Cake House”, I was even more excited as wedding cake is my favorite food! The molding details look like frosting.
This 1906 Victorian with its architectural detail, columns, and porches is elegant. The grounds are meticulously maintained. It is breathtaking and the history is palpable.
The home has 14 rooms, 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, 7 fireplaces, and a wine cellar.
