A Tale of Two Lions

There’s a charming house on West Wyoming Avenue that stands out for a special reason: it’s guarded by two noble cement lions.

The lion on the right has proudly stood there for over 50 years. Its twin, however, was sadly destroyed by vandals one Halloween night. Determined to restore the pair, the homeowner began a search and eventually found a near-identical replacement.

Though the new lion isn’t made from the same concrete and has started to show a few cracks, it still stands tall — faithfully watching over the walkway just like its elder sibling.

A heartfelt thank you to the homeowners for preserving this little piece of neighborhood character and keeping these majestic guardians “alive”.
