There’s a new energy on Franklin Street — and you’re invited to feel it.
Hair Passion is celebrating its Grand Opening this Sunday, February 15, from 4–7 PM at 375 Franklin Street. Stop by for food, drinks, raffles, and goody bags — and take in a space that is as warm and welcoming as the team inside it.
From the moment you walk through the door, you’ll notice the glow of natural light, rich espresso-brown wood, classic tin ceilings, and even a cozy coffee bar. It’s modern, polished, and thoughtfully designed — but what makes it truly special is the heart behind it.
The renovation itself was a family affair. Owner Jaclyn Nash rolled up her sleeves alongside her husband James, her son and daughter, and her staff to bring this vision to life. Jaclyn previously owned a salon in Medford and has created Hair Passion as a color-focused salon that proudly caters to all hair textures and types.
The culture here matters. Stylist Tatiana Grullon first fell in love with the salon as a client before joining the team two years ago. She speaks passionately about the mentorship, encouragement, continuing education, and genuine sense of value she feels. The stylists trust one another, collaborate for their clients, and are committed to growth — both professionally and personally.
Hair Passion joins the vibrant collection of salons on Franklin Street, but Jaclyn doesn’t see competition — she sees community. As a national educator for Redken, she hopes to bring neighboring salons together for shared trainings and collaboration. That spirit of unity is woven into everything they do.
Every stylist is talented, client-focused, and knowledgeable in all hair types. Many speak multiple languages, creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels understood and welcome. The atmosphere truly feels like stepping into a living room — comfortable couches, coffee, snacks, and plenty of space. With ample stations, it’s perfect for bridal parties and special gatherings. Jaclyn also envisions hosting women’s empowerment events and even self-defense workshops.
Hair Passion understands that life is busy. They respect your time and are transparent about appointment lengths and the cost of add-on services like scalp exfoliation or timed scalp massages. No surprises — just great service.
