Exciting news, Melrose!

A new gem is opening this week — Table Four Melrose, a wine and cheese bar that brings European charm right to our city. This cozy spot is the realization of a longtime dream by Melrosian Lorrie Overgaag, and it’s one you’ll want to linger in.

Table Four features a European-inspired menu of simple, elegant offerings—beautiful charcuterie boards, small bites, and finger foods—thoughtfully paired with a curated selection of wine and beer. There’s a strong local connection too, with ingredients sourced from nearby favorites like Despina (hummus).

We had the chance to visit during a soft opening and were truly blown away by the ambience, wines, and cheeses. I’m not someone who easily sits back and relaxes — but there’s something about this place that makes you want to slow down, stay awhile, and enjoy the moment.

Located at 169A West Emerson Street, across from Bowden Park, near the Cedar Park train station (in the former Bonnie’s Nails space), Table Four feels like a little European escape. The space is warm and intimate, filled with an eclectic collection of vintage and antique pieces, including unique china that adds to its unmistakable charm. It’s a place to gather with family, friends, and loved ones—and take life a little slower.

With Lorrie’s background in the restaurant industry and her passion for vintage finds, Table Four Melrose promises a welcoming, thoughtful, and truly special dining experience. Pull up a chair at Table Four — Melrose’s newest cozy, conversation-worthy destination.
