Free Rides to the Polls on Election Day Through the Council on Aging

Any Melrose voter who needs a ride to the polls to vote in the municipal election on Tuesday can get one through the Council on Aging.
Early voting is currently taking place at City Hall, through Friday at 12:30pm. Regular, in-person voting will take place on Tuesday, November 4th, 7am through 8pm, at the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School gym.
The Council on Aging will offer rides from several housing complexes - anyone can get on the bus at the designated time without the need for a reservation.
The schedule for Election Day is as follows:
- 10am: Cefalo Memorial Complex (245 West Wyoming Ave)
- 11am: Levi Gould/Fuller House (200 West Foster Street)
- 12pm: Cochrane House (80 Grove Street)
- 1pm: McCarthy Building (910 Main Street)
- 2pm: Steele House (1 Nason Drive, near Franklin Street)
Residents can also call the Council on Aging at 781-665-4304 to make a reservation for a ride to the polls from any other location.
